Work completed
Major service. The breaker arrived with a broken charging handle, a missing CLOSE button, and corrosion and rust contamination throughout.
The unit was stripped down and the operating mechanism fully dismantled so each component could be inspected. Parts were cleaned ultrasonically, re-lubricated and reassembled. A new charging handle and CLOSE pushbutton were fitted. The closing coil, shunt trip and undervoltage release were replaced as requested.
The protection release was injection-tested at multiple thresholds with ABB's Ekip SIM test kit, and tripped the breaker within the required times at every point. Contact resistance at 10 A and insulation resistance at 500 V were satisfactory. Over 30 mechanical service operations were performed.
Defects found: none outstanding. Parts used: ABB SACE manual charging handle (1), ABB SACE CLOSE button (1), plus the three replacement coils.
Ambient and breaker temperature at test: 23.5 °C. Completed and approved September 22, 2026.

This breaker is a first-generation Emax with a PR122 trip unit. More on Emax E1–E6 repair, the PR121/PR122 trip unit guide, or the LC1F contactor certificate.
Send us the nameplate
